Children’s Mercy’s Illuminate Project is an initiative to address the mental health crisis among children and teens in the Kansas City area. Among many other things, this project will help build new mental health facilities at Children’s Mercy including an Acute Mental Health Crisis Center, a Med/Psych Unit, and a partial Hospitalization Program and our donations will help fund such projects. These facilities (and the associated specialized services they will provide) will ensure that kids who are dealing with such challenges will get the care they need.
